Hi Alice. your posts on John have been really touching. I was home for the funeral at the weekend and Leitrim was, indeed, at its most beautiful. Almost as if it were paying tribute. Hope your work is going well.
Thanks for that, ma and hh. Wish I'd overcome shyness and gone and met the man. I regret that. Good on you hh for having the chutzpah to meet him and get to know him--(I've read your blog and have put two and two together.) I hope the beauty of the funeral and the man's acceptance of his own death help a little bit in grieving your friend. Good luck to you both. Alice
